This week we’re saying a very fond farewell to our Store Manager, Neil ❤️

Everyone at Preston Street IGA wants to thank Neil for his leadership, talent, incredible eye for detail and, most of all, his warm and affable nature. He has been such an important part of our team and we’re going to miss him enormously.

A real career highlight came in 2019, when Neil set his sights on achieving Best IGA in Australia and Best IGA Bakery in Australia, then helped drive the team to win both. A huge achievement and a testament to the standards he has always brought to the store.

We asked Neil what he’ll miss most, and naturally the curried egg sandwiches made the list, along with his incredible colleagues and all of our wonderful store regulars.

Neil’s last day is Wednesday, so make sure you wish him well if you see him in store.

Next up, he’ll be enjoying a very well-earned retirement, starting with some island hopping through Bali, Europe next year and, perhaps best of all, sleeping in well past 4am.

All the very best, Neil. We love you and couldn’t be happier for you. An absolute legend of Preston Street IGA.
