So letβs answer the ones we get asked on repeat π
π Is it alcoholic?
Kombucha naturally contains trace alcohol from fermentation (usually under 0.5%). It is not brewed to be alcoholic.
π What is kombucha?
Brewed tea that is fermented with cultures. Thatβs where the flavour and fizz come from.
π Whatβs that stuff on the bottom?
Not mould π Leftover yeast and cultures from fermentation. Totally normal. You can drink it or leave it behind
π Can kids drink it?
It is a fermented drink & totally safe for kids to consume. Creamy strawberry is usually the pick! π
π Why is it sour?
Fermentation creates organic acids that tangy taste is part of the process (not added flavouring)
π How long does it take to make?
Days, not minutes! Brew, ferment, flavour, bottle, chill.
Kombucha is brewed, fermented & very much doing its own thing. Not just a fizzy drink.
