💙 WE WILL MISS YOU, DICK 🕊️

Some people become part of our market family without us even realising just how much they mean to us. Dick was one of those people. ❤️

We sadly lost Dick on Sunday, and our hearts go out to his beautiful wife, Leila, who is also a member of our Lions family.

Dick and Leila were such a lovely sight at our Casino Lions Farmers Market.

They would arrive hand in hand, do their shopping for fresh vegetables, then sit down with a cup of coffee and enjoy a good chat with friends. ☕🥕

Those simple Saturday mornings, shared with familiar faces and friendly conversations, are memories we will treasure.

It is often the little things that leave the biggest mark — a familiar face, a warm smile, a shared coffee and the comfort of good company. Dick was part of what made our market feel like family, and Saturdays won't quite be the same without him.

Dear Leila, we are thinking of you and sending you so much love. May the memories of the beautiful times you shared bring you comfort and strength.

Dick, thank you for being part of our lives and our Lions family. You will be missed more than words can say. ❤️

We’re excited to welcome Story Dogs to the Casino Lions Farmers Market this Saturday!

Story Dogs helps children build confidence and improve their reading skills by reading to a friendly, specially trained dog in a relaxed and supportive environment. 📖🐕

The Lions Club of Casino is proud to support Story Dogs with a donation towards their wonderful work in our community.

Come along this Saturday, meet the Story Dogs team and their gorgeous four-legged friends, and find out more about this fantastic literacy program!

What a wonderful Community Information Day!

We had the pleasure of welcoming District Governor Johnston to our market today. It was wonderful to have him join us and see our community coming together.

A big thank you to the Rural Fire Brigade, SES, Windara and Rhee Taekwon-Do for being part of our Community Information Day and sharing the important work they do in our community.

We’re proud to provide a place where local organisations can connect with the community, share information and let people know how they can get involved.
