...we’ve made the bittersweet decision to retire our beloved roasted h**p seed range...
..yes, both the Roasted H**p Seed Dukkah and its long-time rival, the Salad Sprinkle.

For our long-timers, the Dukkah holds a special place in our story.

It was one of the very first products we ever released, crafted by co-founder Chris Blake and quickly crowned with a silver medal at the Sydney Fine Food Awards and bronze at the Perth Royal Food Awards.

Since 2018, it’s been sprinkled, dipped, and devoured by loyal customers who know a good thing when they taste it.

Not to be outdone, Bronwyn — co-founder, scientist, wife of Chris, and proud Salad Sprinkle champion — created her own blend to go head-to-head in what can only be described as an epic culinary showdown.

She maintains it doesn’t need any medals because, well… it outsells the Dukkah. And to be fair, she’s not wrong.

As we prepare to say goodbye, the Dukkah is nearing its best-before date, so we’ve popped it on special for just $5 per 150 g packet (normally $14.95).

And if you’re partial to Team Sprinkle, there are only 39 packets left before it disappears for good.

This is your final chance to grab a little piece of Vasse Valley history — once they’re gone, they’re truly gone.

It was a hard market this morning with a very obvious vacancy. Our hearts go out to Sarah’s family.

Today, we take a moment to honour and remember our dear stallholder Sarah whose warmth and spirit touched so many in our market community.
Sarah was a cherished and devoted member of our market family known for the pride she and her husband, Nick, poured into their Wines of Merritt label, her radiant smile, and the laughter she brought to our Saturday mornings. Her presence added joy, authenticity, and a unique spark to our market, and she will be deeply missed by fellow stallholders, our staff, and our loyal customers.
We extend our sincerest condolences to her husband, Nick, and their children, George and Amelie, during this incredibly difficult time. We are holding them close in our thoughts and hope they find comfort in the love and memories shared with Sarah.

In honour of Sarah, we raise a quiet toast today a glass lifted in gratitude for her craft, her spirit, and the joy she brought to our community.

When we’re not doing markets we’re busy exploring! This week our destination was Bruny Island, Tasmania. What a magnificent place!

Stunning coastal scenery, lush bushland, good surf and welcoming locals.

Some of the locals were a little too friendly and we believe it was a spotted quoll who robbed us of dinner one night. Fancy stealing 9 fish!

Then there were the cheeky and very noisy black possums who were not deterred by anything other than a water pistol! 🔫

Back on the mainland now and enjoyed meeting the community of New Norfolk yesterday and Sorell today at the local markets. We are enjoying helping Tasmanians get healthy the natural way one customer at a time.
