We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Retail & Kitchen Assistant to join us at Meat and 3 Veg for 15–20 hours per week!
This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining retail customer service with behind-the-scenes kitchen and meat preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Welcoming shoppers, handling counter sales, and providing friendly service.
- Kitchen & Prep Duties: Traying up, packaging, and labeling fresh meat and stock items.
- Store Upkeep: Stock rotation, checking expiration dates, shelf replenishment, and maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Closing & Cash Handling: Managing register transactions and handling sole-charge store closing procedures.
Position Requirements:
• Must be 18+ (required for sole-charge closing responsibilities).
• Availability: Must be available for afternoon shifts (until 5:30pm) AND Saturdays from 7:00am – 1:00pm.
• Physical Capability: Able to comfortably lift up to 15kg.
• Skills: Excellent cash-handling accuracy, strong time management, and high attention to detail.
• Traits: Honest, punctual, self-motivated, and reliable.
