Would you like to join us for a Kitchen Table Conversation?
We are collaborating with Beechworth History and Heritage Society (BHHS) to encourage our
Community to help shape Beechworth’s future and we would love you to be part of this…
We are encouraging all residents to participate in ‘Kitchen Table Conversations’ about Beechworth’s future.
The conversations are to be hosted as Beechworth approaches the 175th anniversary, in 2027, of gold’s discovery on what became the Ovens field and starts to look towards the community’s bicentenary in 2052.
Anniversaries provide an important opportunity for the people who call Beechworth home to reflect on what they value about the community and discuss what they want the town to be like over the next quarter century.
It’s a great chance to have your say, one that’s open to everyone who lives, works, studies, volunteers and operates businesses.
Kitchen table conversations, or KTCs, are informal, small-group discussions that give people a welcoming and respectful setting in which they can share their experiences, concerns, ideas and hopes.
We will be hosting our first KTC on Wednesday the 19th of August at the RSL supper room.
Starting at 5.30pm.
We would love you to be part of this first collaboration…
