📣 We’re hiring at SPAR BALLINA!

We’re looking for a couple of experienced team members to join our Deli, fruit and veg and grocery departments.

These are casual positions, starting at around 20 hours per week. Previous retail or food experience would be great. You’ll need to be available for opening and closing shifts, as well as weekends.

Interested? Please drop into SPAR Ballina with your résumé. We’d love to meet you!

Thank you,
The SPAR Ballina team

To the “lovely” couple who visited our store today:

You filled a bag with medicines and then attempted to pay only for a bottle of water. When our staff member asked you to pay for the items in the bag, you snatched back the money and water bottle and ran towards the door. When the staff member followed, you threw water at them before running away.

You may think you did well, but stealing from a small local business and treating our staff this way is completely unacceptable.

One of you appeared to be wearing a care-sector uniform. If anyone recognises this couple, please contact us privately. Please do not post names or personal information publicly.

The incident and footage is reported to the police.
