Absolutely disgusting.. The WA government has allowed a off shore mining company to do seismic blasting in one of the main areas for WA dhue fish and pink snapper spawning and this is approved to be undertaken right at their spawning time but have stopped all recreational and commercial fishing of that area!!
WTF is actually going on with out corporate owned and run government..
Australians need to stand up together and put a stop to this madness…

The Maggie fishmonger is just back from a trip to the reef and I have some absolutely beautiful fish for you mob..
I will be trading tomorrow and Friday at the Arcadia pub between 12pm and 5pm.. On the catch list this week is the following fish..
Red emperor
Coral trout
Red throat emperor
Robinson sea bream
Large mouth Nannygai
Purple rock cod
Small reef shark (flake)
Sweet lip
Mixed reef
Trevally
I literally caught this fish yesterday so it doesn’t get any fresher than that..
Know where your food is coming from,
Know it’s sustainably line caught with respect and appreciation.

G’day all my seafood loving islanders..
The next few days are looking pretty good for weather so I’m off to the reef to catch you mob some amazing reef fish. I’ll be leaving tomorrow and returning on Wednesday so there will be fresh fish available at the Arcadia pub Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 5pm..
If anyone wants whole fish this week please send me a message with what you’re after and I can put it aside for you.. I normally just do skinless fillets but more than happy to sell whole fish by special order..

G’day all my amazing seafood loving customers!!
The Maggie Fishmonger is back from the reef with some of the best eating fish on the planet..
This trip I went a bit further out past the continental shelf and fished for some deep water varieties so you mob are in for a real treat this week with some very delicious fish on the menu..
Ruby snapper and flame tail snapper fillets available from 12pm to 5pm today and tomorrow @ The Arcadia pub but fish this good doesn’t last long so if you don’t want to miss out I would get in early..
Other fish available this week are…..
Coral trout (limited numbers)
Robinson sea bream (limited numbers)
Purple rock cod (limited numbers)
Red emperor
Bar cod (deep water)
Large mouth Nannygai
Red throat emperor
Sweet lip
Green jobfish (sashimi grade)
Mixed reef
And of course all the other local wild caught prawns and bugs.. (both cooked and raw)

I have just got back from an overnight trip to the reef and caught some absolutely beautiful fish..
This trip I also got a chance to fish out over the continental shelf and catch you mob some amazing deep water varieties.. These deep water fish are some of the best eating fish on the planet..
I will be trading Friday and Saturday at the Arcadia pub from 12pm to 5pm with heaps of delicious fresh fillets available on ice..
The fish menu this week is as follows..
Flame tail snapper
Ruby snapper
Red Emperor
Coral trout
Bar cod
Purple cod
Red throat emperor
Robinson sea bream
Sweet lip and more
The fish sells fast so if you don’t want to miss out I would get down as early as you can on Friday..

G’day all my seafood loving islanders..
The Maggie Fishmonger is trading this Friday and Saturday at the Arcadia pub from 12pm to 5pm both days..
The freezer trailer has been fixed so I have a full range of local caught red spot king prawns both cooked and raw.. Local Moreton bay bugs medium and large both cooked and raw..
The prawns and bugs just got unloaded off a local boat so they’re as fresh as frozen gets!!
Heaps of line caught reef fish and packs of fish wings that are next level on the BBQ.. local caught squid too..
Know where your seafood is coming from, know its local wild caught, know its the best quality and as fresh as it gets… limited fish so if you don’t want to miss out get in early….

G’day all my seafood loving islanders!!
It’s Mother’s Day tomorrow and I’m sure there’s lots of amazing Maggie island mums that would love a beautiful fresh fish dinner for Mother’s Day.
The Maggie Fishmonger is trading today at the Arcadia pub from 12pm to 5pm with heaps of amazing line caught reef fish available on ice ready to go.. I literally caught this fish two days ago so it doesn’t get any fresher than that..
The fish sells fast so get in early or you might miss out..
Also just to let everyone know that it’s only fish available today at the pub as my freezer trailer is still out of action so if anyone wants any prawns or bugs you’ll have to organise to pick them up from my place in Nelly bay…

The Maggie Fishmonger has just got back from 3 days at the reef catching some absolutely beautiful line caught reef fish.
Unfortunately the refrigeration system is still broken on my seafood trailer and I am unable to trade today!
It should be fixed today and I will be trading tomorrow (Saturday) at the Arcadia pub from 12pm to 5pm…
There will be loads of amazing fresh fillets available tomorrow (Saturday)..
