COMMUNITY SAFETY NOTICE – CYCLONE PREPARATION

Dear Community Members,

On behalf of Eylandt Enterprise, we would like to inform everyone that due to the approaching Tropical Cyclone Narelle, all residents are strongly advised to prepare immediately and remain safe.

This is a serious weather situation, and we encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions to protect yourselves, your families, and your property.

Important Instructions:
• Secure all loose items around your house (bins, chairs, tools, etc.)
• Ensure all windows and doors are properly closed
• Charge all phones and prepare for possible power outages
• Keep enough food and drinking water for at least 3 days
• Have essential items ready (medicine, torch, batteries, radio, documents)
• Stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel
• Do NOT go near floodwaters or drive through flooded areas

Safety First:
• Stay with your family and look after one another
• Check on elderly people and those who may need assistance
• Follow all official government and emergency instructions
