I remember seeing a Family Circle magazine, the cover of which displayed a gorgeous chocolate gâteau surrounded by fancy petit fours. I was 8 years old at the time and from that moment I knew I wanted to create the kind of treats that spoke of decadence and celebration. Thanks to my Mother being endlessly patient whilst I experimented as a child in her kitchen, I was able to develop and indulge my
love of baking. Over the years I've enjoyed being the one to make the special dessert or luscious cake for family and friends ~ at events, milestones and 'just because'! After working as a travel and food writer for years, I have finally given in to this lifelong love of baking and so Baking By Becca has been born. I have a few criteria when I start making my cakes:-
Best ingredients I can get my hands on, and from our Region if at all possible. Generosity ~ If I can fit in more berries/chocolate chips/nuts whatever~ I WILL ! To pack as much flavour as possible into the BBB goodies
and lastly.....
