Market Lane Meats is seeking an experienced and motivated Butcher to join our team at Elizabeth City Centre.
We are a busy, family-owned butcher shop committed to providing our customers with quality products, excellent service and a high standard of presentation.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of day-to-day butchery duties, serving, customer service, cleaning, general shop duties and other additional duties where needed.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a busy environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Has previous butchery experience
• Takes pride in producing quality products with excellent presentation
• Can work confidently both independently and as part of a team
• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Has good communication and customer service skills
• Is willing to contribute positively to the team
• Is available to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and late-night trading
