Annual holiday time for us to recharge and celebrate life.
Monday 18th May until Tuesday 26 th May , we’ll be closed.

While the weather cools down and things tend to slow down a little, we take a chance to recharge and celebrate life.
We understand that this throws a few routines out, however we do our best to limit the inconvenience.

Grab your bread, supplies this week so you don’t miss your favourites while we’re closed.

note Hey Baker is not baking this Friday and we will be closed the following week. So we apologise for both.

There’s something special about our “Village “ ..Yes Strath is technically a Town , however we treat it like an old village.
We slow down, consider our neighbours and generally care about our community.
We’re definitely a day destination that’s getting more and more attention.
Diversity and inclusion is at the core of what makes it special, so step back in time throughout History month and discover a few treasures. 🥰

Operating on both Fridays and Sundays, experience country train travel at its finest, with a comfortable and relaxing trip through the picturesque Mt Lofty Ranges to Strathalbyn, and return.

🌳Free Children's Activity Trail Packs will be available upon arrival at Strathalbyn when travelling on the Friday services (17th & 24th).

🚌 If travel is an issue, don't fret! You can leave the car at home and catch the Adelaide Metro bus right up to our historic Mount Barker Station; we're just 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD!

Trains Depart Mount Barker at 9:30am and 2:00pm.
Trains Depart Strathalbyn at 11:30am and 4:00pm.*

Feeling thankful 🥰 to all our locals, regulars and new friends.
This week despite the current situation regarding all costs of living we have been supported by you all.
Small businesses are dependent upon your support and our village is growing with new larger corporations.
Our vision of diversity is great for growth.
However knowing your customers and providing value for money alongside an experience is at the core of what is importance to us.
We dropped the service charge all weekend and continue to pay forward coffee ☕️ for those who just need a little extra when time are hard. Sometimes it’s just a conversation that is needed to lift your day, community and support.
