Caramelised beef, glossy chilli sauce, and that perfect sweet heat moment… all in 20 minutes using ingredients from Spinneys and .elephant ‘s chilli oil.

STICKY CHILLI BEEF NOODLES
Prep time: 10 minutes�Cook time: 15 minutes�Serves: 2
�INGREDIENTS�2 tbsp Spinneysfood Sesame Oil
2 Spinneysfood Spring Onions, sliced and separated�4 garlic cloves, sliced�1 red chilli, finely sliced
1 tsp Spinneysfood Smoked Chilli Flakes
250g Spinneysfood Organic Beef Mince
2 tbsp Spinneysfood Dark Soy Sauce
4 tbsp Spinneysfood Hoisin Sauce
1 tbsp Spinneysfood Rice Vinegar
2 tsp Curious Elephant Chinese Chilli Oil
2 tbsp Spinneysfood Coconut Sugar
2 tbsp Spinneysfood White Sesame Seeds�180g Spinneysfood Rice Noodles��METHOD
1 In a wok or large frying pan, heat the sesame oil over a high heat. Add the whites of the spring onions, garlic, chopped chilli and chilli flakes. Fry for 1 minute until the spring onion and garlic start to turn golden. Add the beef mince to the pan, breaking it up and cook until caramelised around the edges.
2 In a jug, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar and chilli oil. Add the coconut sugar and sesame seeds before pouring over the crispy beef.
3 Blanch the rice noodles according to the package instructions, then transfer them directly into the wok. Toss well to coat the noodles evenly.
4 Divide the beef noodles between two bowls and finish with the reserved spring onion greens before serving.

This One Pan Kafta Batata Orzo Bake is pure comfort — juicy lamb meatballs, soft potatoes, saucy orzo — and the real glow-up? We used Maraqah Lamb Stock to give it that slow-cooked depth without the wait. Read on for the full recipe.

One Pan Kafta Batata Orzo Bake
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS
400g Spinneysfood Lamb Meatballs with Fresh Mint
3 Sprays of Spinneysfood Olive Oil Spray
1 tbsp Bayara Seven Spices
200g baby potatoes
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Spinneysfood Red Capsicum, diced
250g Spinneysfood Plum Snacking Tomatoes
150g Spinneysfood Orzo
1 x 400g Tin Spinneysfood Chopped Italian Tomatoes with Olive Oil and Garlic
3 tbsp Maraqah Lamb Stock Base
500ml Spinneysfood Bottled water
Spinneysfood Fine Sea Salt, to taste
Spinneysfood Black Pepper, freshly ground, to taste
Handful of Spinneysfood Fresh Parsley, chopped

METHOD
1 Preheat the oven to 220°C, gas mark 7.
2 In a large baking tray, spread the lamb meatballs evenly, spray with oil and sprinkle over the seven spice. Roast for 10 minutes until golden brown.
3 Microwave the potatoes for 5-6 minutes until tender.
4 Add the capsicum, onion, cherry tomatoes and the potatoes into the tray. Pour over the orzo before adding the tinned tomatoes and stock. Season with salt and pepper.
5 Bake for a further 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbling.
6 Generously sprinkle over the chopped parsley and serve.

This warmly spiced cookie brings together our Spinneysfood Hot Cross Buns with the nostalgic comfort of buttered toast and jam.

Brown butter, sugar and treacle build a rich, chewy base — giving you a cookie that’s perfectly gooey in the centre with crisp, toast-like edges.

Prep time: 25 minutes + 30 minutes chill
Cook time: 14 minutes
Makes: 12 cookies

INGREDIENTS
2 Spinneysfood Hot Cross Buns
50g Spinneysfood Salted Butter
125g Spinneysfood Unsalted Butter, browned and cooled
80g Spinneysfood White Sugar
100g Spinneysfood Dark Brown Sugar
20g black treacle
1 large egg
1 tbsp vanilla extract
250g Spinneysfood Plain Flour
1 tsp Spinneysfood Pumpkin Spice
¼ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
40g raisins
100g white chocolate, divided, 50g chopped finely and the rest cubed
Spinneysfood Sea Salt Flakes

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. Slice the hot cross buns in half and toast until golden and crisp. Spread the butter on them and allow it to melt.
2. Blitz in a food processor to form coarse crumbs and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the white sugar, dark brown sugar, treacle and brown butter.
3. Whisk in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Sieve the flour, pumpkin spice, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt and fold into the dough along with the raisins and white chocolate.
4. Scoop into balls onto a tray, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up.
5. Roll the dough balls generously in the hot cross bun crumbs so the outside is evenly coated, pressing lightly so the crumbs adhere.
6. Arrange the cookies on the tray with space between them and bake for 12 minutes until the edges are golden and crisp while the centres remain soft.
7. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and press in a block of white chocolate while the cookies warm.

Introducing a delightful twist on two favourites – Carrot Cake Baklava. 🥕✨ Layers of crisp, buttery phyllo filled with spiced carrot and walnut goodness, all soaked in a rich, warm carrot and muscovado syrup.

For the syrup:
500g Spinneysfood Dark Muscovado Sugar
60g SpinneysFOOD Organic Natural Honey
2 cinnamon quills
2 slices of lemon
500ml fresh carrot juice

For the baklava:
1kg carrots, peeled
350g walnuts, finely chopped
150g ground almonds
1½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground cloves
1 box fresh phyllo pastry
165g All Things ButterUnsalted Butter, melted
115g All Things Butter Cinnamon Bun, melted
Spinneysfood Sea Salt, to taste
Spinneysfood Icing Sugar, for dusting

1- Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced, gas mark 4.
2- Juice the carrots, reserving 500ml juice for the syrup. Keep the carrot pulp for the filling.
3- In a large bowl, combine the carrot pulp, walnuts, ground almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Mix well.
4- Brush 3 sheets of phyllo pastry with the combined melted butters, layering them together. Spread an even layer of the carrot mixture over the pastry and roll tightly into a log.
5- Repeat with the remaining phyllo and filling. Cut each roll into 2cm pieces.
6- Brush a baking tray with melted butter and arrange the baklava pieces tightly together, cut side up. Brush generously with the remaining butter.
7- Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
8- Meanwhile, combine the muscovado sugar, carrot juice, honey, lemon slices and cinnamon quills in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
9- Remove the baklava from the oven and immediately pour over the hot syrup. Allow to cool completely so the syrup absorbs.
10- Dust lightly with icing sugar before serving.

Tip: Serve with cream cheese ice cream.

Rich, creamy, and delightfully textured, this recipe blends the sweet, sunshiney flavour of Qamar al-Din apricot leather with indulgent Madagascan vanilla ice cream.

All you need is:

-1 sheet Qamar al-Din Apricot Leather
-350ml Spinneysfood Bottled Water
-500ml Spinneysfood Madagascan Vanilla Beans Ice Cream
-300ml Waitrose Essential Double Cream
-2 tbsp pistachio slivers
-95g Spinneysfood Golden Pearls
-Spinneysfood Icing Sugar, for dusting

1- Cut approximately one-quarter of the apricot leather into small squares. Toss lightly in icing sugar and set aside for decorating.
2- Tear the remaining apricot leather into pieces, place in a bowl and cover with the bottled water. Soak overnight until softened, then blend until smooth to form an apricot base.
3- Place 2 serving glasses in the freezer to chill.
4- In a blender, combine 300ml of the apricot base with the ice cream. Blend until smooth and thick.
5- Spoon a little apricot base into the bottom of each glass. Pour over the shake, then add another spoonful of apricot base to create a layered effect.
6- Lightly whip the double cream until softly thickened. Spoon over the shakes and decorate with pistachio slivers, golden pearls and the apricot squares. Serve immediately.
