Today’s training session was both informative and productive, providing valuable insights into large-scale grain farming and different planting methods.
🚜 Traditional and Modern Farming Methods: We explored the use of tractors and planters, as well as modern drone technology for planting and crop spraying.
🚁 Drone Technology in Agriculture: We gained practical knowledge about using drones to apply pesticides and other agricultural inputs in grain crops such as maize, soya beans and sunflower.
The session was truly eye-opening and highlighted how technology can improve farming practices, efficiency and productivity.
A big thank you to Grain SA for this valuable initiative and for equipping farmers with the knowledge and skills needed to grow and succeed in agriculture. 🌾👏
