UMG is doing everything in their power to make Kendrick BIGGER than Drake in every way possible by making Kendrick break all the records that was previously held by Drake

Everyday I wake up to headlines saying "Kendrick jus broke another record of..." or "Kendrick jus became the first rapper to..." or "Kendrick jus dethrone Drake..."

At first I believed Kendrick was genuinely breaking all these records on merit till I saw couple of suspicious headlines on social media these past 24 hrs

Jus these past 24 hours; Kendrick jus became the first rapper to hit 100M monthly listeners on Spotify like who tf in China is listening to Kendrick all the suddenly

These past 24 hours; Kendrick jus became the first male artists to simultaneously chart 3 albums in the TOP 10 of BILLBOARD 200 this week wit "GNX" back at #1, "DAMN" at #9 and "GOD KID, MAD CITY" at #10

Like y'all telling me that after the Superbowl, people really went to buy and listen to Kendrick's old albums instead of listening to King Von and that new Drake album 😒

These past 24 hours; the UK OFFICIAL SINGLES CHART jus said "NOT LIKE US" is about to hit #1 on this week's UK OFFICIAL SINGLES CHART TOP 100 for the first time since it dropped and it's about to be Kendrick's first #1 single in the UK

Like u telling me whole UK is listening to "NOT LIKE US" more and more in February 2025 but when it was the #1 hit song in the whole world last year at the peak of the beef, the UK was still sleeping 😒

Kendrick Lamar recently shared the biggest "misconception" about himself during an unusual interview with actor Timothée Chalamet.

The conversation, held ahead of Kendrick's landmark Super Bowl halftime performance, delved into their distinct artistic processes. A short clip from their discussion, released on February 7, showcased Kendrick reflecting on his creative journey in the studio while cruising with Chalamet in a 1987 Buick Grand National, the inspiration behind his latest album, GNX.

During the interview, Kendrick revealed, “That’s probably one of the biggest misconceptions about me as an artist. I’m always locked in and I’m always trying new things. Now, whether or not I like them [laughs] is a whole other conversation.”

He elaborated on how staying productive helps him maintain his sanity and understand himself better. “When you write, you have to sit and go through the emotions and be vulnerable about it, whether it’s a fun song or a sad song or it got some type of depth. This is your personality pushing through.”

Kendrick also spoke about GNX track "Man at the Garden," calling it the "easiest" song he's ever written, and emphasized its significance in communicating his message.
