iPi Catering is expanding and is now calling for an experienced Accountant for its Port Moresby operations and is offering you an opportunity to join a Finance Team.
Position: Accountant
Location: Port Moresby
Job Requirements:
•Seeking Candidates who have a Degree/Diploma in Accounting with preferably CPA membership and at least 5 years’ experience in an accounting role, particularly dealing with financial accounting matters in an operational environment.
• The position will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.
• Must be competent with Pronto Xi software.
• Must have product knowledge in Supermarket Warehousing, Hotel, Restaurants, Mining Camp Industry, Payroll- Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Invoicing.
•Must be well versed in all financial accounting procedures and compliance requirements.
•Must have knowledge of FX Importing Budgets & Forecasting.
•Must have previous experience in hospitality, catering and food industry services.
•Exceptional audit knowledge.
•Must provide analysis management report on time.
•Provide leadership with month end work to the finance team.
•Must lead the team effectively to achieve accurate timely reporting in all areas of inventory and accounts.
•Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
•Must work with minimum supervision and meet strict deadlines.
•Proven leadership ability to work within a team in achieving the company’s core values.
•Must be able to pass on knowledge and train others.
•Must possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Application: MS Excel/Word, Outlook, Power point and Publisher.
•Very good attitude and interpersonal skills.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Must be Port Moresby Based.
