Big things are happening today at Thompson Peak Lavender…

Today is a special day on the farm. We are carefully transplanting 125 mature lavender plants to one of our local schools. These plants have been growing here, rooted in our soil, and now they’re heading to a new home where students will get to watch them grow, learn from them, and hopefully be inspired by them.

Agriculture is more than farming — it’s community. It’s sharing knowledge, growing together, and planting seeds that last far beyond the field. Supporting local agriculture means supporting the places and people that make our community thrive.

And this is just the beginning…

As the weather warms and the farm wakes up for the season, exciting things are brewing at Thompson Peak Lavender. This summer we have big plans in the works — from special events and our very own farm store, to live music, date nights, art for kids, yoga on the farm, and more.

Let’s just say… this summer is going to smell a little more like lavender. 💜

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay up-to-date on events and farm happenings. We’ll share an update once all 125 plants are settled into their new home.

Stay tuned… something special is growing. 🌱

Well Lassen County, you showed up again for Ayden and his family. Our lavender field was overflowing with love, support, and generosity. Because of YOU, we easily surpassed our $500 goal! 🙌

We’re donating 100% of the proceeds and have already reached out to the family. Later this week we’ll be delivering both the donations and the heartfelt cards you all wrote.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Lassen County for rallying around Ayden. Please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers. 💜🙏

Last week, when we hosted the Richmond Garden Club, one common theme came up again and again: “Can we cut a lot and sell it for Ayden?”

Their love and care for their classmate was so moving, it inspired us to open our field and do the same.

This Saturday from 8am-7pm, 100% of the proceeds from these cuttings and product will go directly to Ayden and his family as they navigate the challenges of stage 4 cancer.

Community is powerful, and together we can lift this family up with love and support.

When we planted our first lavender in 2022, we had a lot of big dreams for what this little farm could become. At the heart of it all was one simple reason—we love our community and wanted to bring more beauty into it. 💜

Supporting your community matters, because when you pour into it, it grows stronger, more connected, and more full of life. That’s exactly what we hope Thompson Peak Lavender can be—a place that not only adds color to the landscape, but also creates experiences, memories, and opportunities for everyone to enjoy.

This past week was a huge milestone for us: we had the privilege of hosting our very first field trip! Seeing the kids from the Richmond Garden Club explore, learn, and run free in the lavender fields was simply amazing. In that moment, all the hard work and dreams felt worth it.

Thank you to the Richmond Garden Club for visiting—we can’t wait to welcome more schools and groups in the future. Here’s to growing beauty, connection, and community together! 💜
