It has been 3 weeks since I was winding down my 6,000 miles in 3 weeks crazy summer trips. Been to North Dakota and back home dropping my girls off at my sons then down to Cape San Blas for my annual BFF beach trip and home week 2 and then back to North Dakota to retrieve my girls week 3....

Back to work! After a couple of weeks of 100+ temps, 90% humidity and heat indices up to 106 we have had a cool down.......

Back to work! After a couple of weeks of 100+ temps, 90% humidity and heat indices up to 106 we have had a cool down.... in the high 80s during the day and lows in 60s and 70s at night which gives me a good 3 to 4 hours to work. Back to the Gypsy work. Learned I need a new truck air conditioner compressor and house AC needs a good charge....

Thought of the day as I'm sitting in the Gypsy covered in sweat watching ants on the wall and pulling out carpet leftovers: I could have put all this money into a facelift, tummy tuck and some lipo...found a rich man with a new motorhome and takeoff. Nahhhh...not as satisfying as doing it yourself and besides I am not picking up after another man....I will cook what I want, if I want and when I want....and my dog doesn't snore. Oh well...tomorrow's another day. Yes I'm channelling my Scarlette. Rhett if you're out there I might reconsider what I just said.

I said from the beginning I AM DOING THIS MYSELF!!! Ok I was wrong. The carpet was my donnybrook and I called uncle. Had a guy come out and ripped it all out in about an hour and a half. Have some cleanup around the edges I need to do but best $50 I've spent lately. Taking break today to do everyday chores....
