Well, it's been a bittersweet week. With the last order dropped, I suppose all that's left to do now is say thank you. In order to thank each & every person who has supported Pip's, this post would need to be 10,000 words. But I'll try to keep it brief! For the most part, all of you who have been there know who you are but a shoutout is deserved nonetheless. Longtime, day one customers like Dana, Kimberly, Jacqueline, Heather, Britt, Lexi, & Jay, thank you. A bit more recent, dedicated regulars like Michelle, Kathy, Alfred, & Lee & Lori, thank you. And every other customer who called Pip's even one time, THANK YOU!!! β€οΈ To ALL the businesses who essentially used Pip's as their delivery driver, I am so grateful. What a feat of community spirit! For everyone to collaborate with a shared goal in mind, with nothing but love and support along the way, that's amazing. In my mind, this is one of the many reasons Westfield is such an awesome small town, and a place I am very proud to call my second home.
Lastly, and most importantly, thank you to Katie, the backbone of Pip's Delivery. Everyone should join me in this thanks because if I had to be the one at the wheel in the winter, no orders would have gotten delivered! Lol I could never drive in the whiteout conditions she managed to. But beyond that, she proofread every social media post. Designed the flyers. Answered phone calls. Helped shop for grocery orders. Liked & shared every social media post. Talked me off the ledge on many occasion. Bouyed me. Always my biggest supporter, and I'm so grateful for that.
I hope that Pip's has given to Westfield even a fraction of what Westfield has given to me. And rest assured that I will still be around town & seeing everyone! I truly hope some of you will come see me at the bookstore, Genres. Whether you read or not, you can still say hey! π
Goodbye for now & thank you all!!
*Pip just fell asleep on the couch, relieved he can finally relax after alllll his hard work. π
