A gentleman showed up tonight with his S-10 pickup loaded down with whole black walnuts!

After running them through the huller, he ended up with 23 bags of hulled walnuts weighing 888 pounds!

And the best part? He said he picked them all TODAY! 😳

Not bad for a full day’s work — $124.32 in his pocket! 💵

Just goes to show, there’s money lying on the ground this time of year!

We’re getting ready for the Wilson Brewer Park Fall Fest tomorrow in Webster City!

We did a little trial run of our display in the shop today, and now it’s time to pack it all up and move it out!

Stop by and visit us! We’d love to talk bees, honey, and of course, BLACK WALNUTS!

Looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces and meeting some new ones!

Harvest season looks a little different around here! 🌾🍂

While we’re busy harvesting black walnuts, the Schmidts are busy combining our soybeans. April even got to ride along in the combine!

From walnuts to soybeans, it’s a busy and beautiful time of year on the farm. There’s just something special about harvest season in Iowa! ❤️
