The farm produces Organic vegetables for local businesses and runs a veg box scheme delivering to local households in south Pembrokeshire.

A reminder to order your veg box for this Friday before 6pm tomorrow (Tuesday) . 🌱🥒 Head to the website to see what’s on offer.

Choose from this weeks Medium box containing **lettuce, courgettes, cucumber, kale, broadbeans and parsley ** or a Large with extras of **potatoes, onions and green garlic**. Alternatively build you own box from our list of grocery options.

In this weeks fruit boxes you’ll find new seasonal favourites. You can add fruit into any veg box order and any veg into your fruit box giving you flexibility!

Lovely bit of rain forecast this week, giving the ground a welcome soak! It did feel a bit strange sowing Brussel sprouts in the heatwave last week!We’re steaming through our outdoor planting now, with leeks going in the ground next.

Big thanks to everyone who same down for our pop up with on Saturday.

It was a pleasure to invite so many people onto the land to share a meal and what a slammin meal it was! Porchetta cooking over the fire all day and the taste of our produce coming through with green garlic on the bbq, fresh Broad beans and peppery turnips.
The sun came out just in time for dinner and the ground got a good soaking before hand!
Thanks to all the family who stepped in to serve drinks. To for the benches and for providing wet weather shelter! Farms need communities!

Keep your eyes peeled for more to come!

In the meantime we are preparing for school visits and college students in June! More opportunity to welcome people onto the land.

We are back to it this week with cucumbers going in and hoping to crack on with the bulk of field planting next week. Courgettes, squash, leeks, cabbage and kales all keen to get in the ground! Much anticipation for fresh flavours and tastes!

The tunnels are all up and filling with cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and French beans! It won’t be long now until we’re trying to keep up with harvesting it all.
We’ve upgraded some of our irrigation systems in the tunnels and they are almost in place, having an organised system saves us time and water in the busy season and helps reduce pests and disease.

Boxes orders are open for this week so head to the website to order yours!
This week we’ve got our own broad beans out of the tunnel, delicious crisp turnips, spinach and salad leaves. Alongside seasonal delights sourced from , cucumbers and sweet potatoes and UK organic spuds.

Pick n mix radish colours coming through, a quick crop from the tunnels so these aren’t here to stay! Green garlic plumping nicely and first decent harvest of broad beans from the tunnel. Outside spinach booming and head lettuce starting to fire! 🔥💚 Keeping on pushing on here!

Lots going on elsewhere on the farm, sowing really ramping up now and it’ll be a push to keep up with getting everything planted out. We’ve been concentrating on the tunnel crops, hopefully we will have the majority of space planted up in the next 2 weeks as we shift our focus out to the field for the bulk of brassica and squash planting.
I’ve been ill on and off for the past 2 weeks which is tricky timing but maybe a result of the intensity of the job at this time of year! Ultimately we do what we can and knowing that we live securely and safely in our environment gives a healthy perspective on stress and pressure. 💚❤️🤍
