I just stocked my freezer with 25 pounds of ground beef and my future me is VERY THANKFUL. As our go-to protein we tend to always run out of ground beef first, so it was an obvious choice for us.

Why would grocery stores hate that we buy in bulk…
When you stock your freezer, you buy far less often… which means fewer store visits… which equals fewer impulse purchases. Also, buying directly from ranchers cuts out the markup added for distribution, processing and the grocery store.
