One of our favorite things about shopping this way your box can look completely different from your neighbor’s. 🥬🍎

Stock up on the staples, try what’s in season, skip what you don’t love. It’s your grocery order, after all.

broccolibrotherscircus is spreading the message: Eat your vegetables!

What do you think, should Produce Box and the Broccoli Brothers do a mashup music video?

We’ve been bringing local vegetables to homes and businesses across the Triangle for 17 years, and we’re not stopping anytime soon!

Fresh means it was recently harvested, but doesn’t tell you from where. Local just means it didn’t travel far. Seasonal means it’s actually growing here, right now, not shipped in from somewhere else with a different harvest timeline.

Our perfect world is when all three line up. 🍓

Right now, that looks like earthy greens, winter squash, Appalachian apples, and all the cozy flavors of North Carolina Fall.

We’re not naming names…. but your grocery bill goes somewhere. It might as well go somewhere that matters. 🌱

We’re not a fluorescent aisle or a mega-corporation’s bottom line.

We’re a small, woman-owned business in its 17th year of serving North Carolina families with food from North Carolina farms.

Every order is a vote for a different kind of food system. Shop from your desktop or phone every weekend when the market is open, Thursday 12pm - Sunday 9pm.

A federal grant that’s been fueling over 1,400 free produce boxes a month to food pantries across Wake County is coming to a close this month, even though food insecurity right now is higher than it was at the height of the pandemic.

Here’s where you come in: every time you place your weekly Produce Box order, you can add a donation at checkout, big or small, no pressure either way. $25 sponsors a full box for a family who needs it.

If you’re new here 👋 The Produce Box delivers local food from NC producers straight to homes across the Triangle every week. Your weekly groceries can fuel our local food system in more ways than one: local farmers, local jobs, and local families in need.

📦 New here? Head to the link in bio to get your first box.

💛 Already a member? Look for the donation option at checkout this week.
