Looks like the warm weather has finally settled in. Join us and our good friend Vincenzo of Impero Selections this Saturday, June 13, from 1100A- 230P for a tasting of some delicious wines on what’s shaping up to be a gorgeous Saturday.
Our lineup:
Tutiac Cote Ocean Rosé - This easy drinking Merlot rosé from Bordeaux burst on our radar last year and it does not disappoint a year hence. A wonderful berry-centric profile with just the right amount of lip-smacking acidity.
Tinazzi Garda Bianco - From the shores of Lake Garda, Italy’s largest, comes this delightful unoaked Chardonnay blend. Light, fruity and perfect for our increasingly hot and humid temps.
Salvalai Pinot Noir - A couple lighter bodied reds to round out the lineup. First, this crisp, dry, yet very soft Pinot Noir, from Friuli in northwest Italy, will win a spot on your summertime rotation.
Rigoletto Chianti - Finally, this DOCG Chianti will knock your sandals off! 90% Sangiovese is rounded off with 10% Merlot and the result is a beautifully harmonious wine bringing all the character Chianti-lovers will recognize with some soft, rounded tannins from the Merlot. Saturday is looking to be nice if not a bit warm. Let’s see if we can set Vincenzo up with a tent next to the shop. Otherwise, he will holding court inside, beside our cheese case.
We hope to see you in the shop! We thank all of you for your continued support.
