Two female Great Pyrenees looking for new jobs! We have drastically downsized and they are bored.

They are roughly the same age, but did NOT grow up together. No littermate syndrome. They have only been working together for a year. Both are around 4 years old. Runa and Erika work very well together, and have been with cows and goats. They have been around chickens that come and go from their charges freely, but they are not assigned to chickens.
They require proper fencing, ELECTRIC fencing. No they will not just stay on your 5 acres without a fence. Proper bonding to stock and proper fencing is a must.
Neither do well with grooming. These are working dogs, not pets. They are friendly though, and love attention. My children can come in and out of charges with them. But from outside their charges - you would not know their friendly, nor would you want to attempt to find out.
