Nectar is coming in fast now and the hives are getting tall! The backyard has a nice sweet smell as the bees convert the nectar to honey.

The ducklings are now teenagers and got moved outside! Within the same run as the others but with a fence between them for a week or two while they get acquainted.

Wanted to put a list of our available items. Duck eggs are somewhat limited at the moment but will change when the 8 new ducks start laying.

Growing fast! The ducks are 2 weeks old today and are already 3-4 times larger! 4-5 more weeks before they get outside and introduced to their older sisters.

Look at all that pollen coming in yesterday! Pollen is very important to them this time of year as they try to build the colony size back up after winter. Pretty soon these hives will have 40,000 to 60,000 bees in each of them!

Bees came out of winter looking great!

Last year we came out of winter with 2 hives so this is a big jump start this year!

Had some helpers hanging out on my desk at work today while waiting to get them home into the brooder.

After doing some testing, we are very happy with the lip balm recipe utilizing our beeswax and making bigger batches. Once we make some labels for them they will be available!
