Happy Father’s Day to two of my favorite men!

To my husband, watching you become a dad has been one of the greatest blessings. You lead our family with love, patience, and strength, and our kids are so lucky to call you their dad. Thank you for being the steady, faithful man our family depends on. We love you more than words can say.

To my dad, you’ll always be my forever hero. Thank you for your constant guidance. I’m so grateful for the example you’ve set and for the countless ways you’ve shaped who I am today.

Earlier this week I connected with Lakeside Farms to get her some of our fresh rhubarb! So naturally, I had to stop by her stand today to pick up one of her strawberry rhubarb pies today! So yummy!

I love checking out all the different farmstands in the area and seeing everyone doing what they love and how they’re sharing it with the community!

5 years ago today we got married on Gun Lake. 💍🤍

Now we’re lucky enough to call this town our forever home. It definitely wasn’t the plan back then, but I’m so thankful for the way God led us back here. His plans always end up being better than our own, and what a beautiful life he has given us here.

Yesterday’s power outage from the storms gave us a much-needed break around here. Before the second round of storms rolled in, I spent some time picking summer wildflowers. 🌼

So many are starting to bloom around here. Im excited to share fresh bouquets at the stand again this season!

We will be open tomorrow with produce, eggs, flowers and more!

We have been picking lots of strawberries this season! After this morning, we’re over 30 pounds for the year! Thanks to my two cute helpers who come with me everytime. 🍓♥️

We will be having lots of fresh strawberry jam, strawberry rhubarb jam, and strawberry applesauce at the stand soon. All made with locally grown Michigan berries. Yum!
