We have the most incredible mixed baby lettuces right now from Lone Duck Farms alongside some Springdale Farm Spinach. Slo Food Market is your everyday "farmer's market"! Where else in Sheboygan can you walk in seven days a week and buy items like local lettuces, local purple carrots from Greenbush Co-op, local spinach from Springdale Farm, lamb from Pinn Oak Farms, housemade sausage by Joe who is a chef of 30 years at our places, and the list goes on. Fresh pastured local pork and locally raised chicken from Golden Bear, eggs from three local sources, local milk, fresh local grass-fed grass-finished beef, and sourdough bread and pastries baked with organic local Wisconsin flour from Meadowlark Organics! We also use all these products at Trattoria Stefano, Il Ritrovo and Field to Fork! Every time you go to one of these establishments, you are growing community through food! Slo Food Market, Stefano's restaurants and the farmers thank you for your continued support! (Also, just finished eating this meal and I am feeling very thankful to the farmers and we look forward to the upcoming season!)

A maritozzo is a classic Roman sweet bun, a soft, slightly sweet brioche-style bread slit open and generously filled with fresh whipped cream. This Week at the Market: Pumpkin swordfish just came in fresh from Honolulu Fish Company!! 🎣🚨
That vibrant color is completely natural - it comes from the swordfish’s shrimp-rich diet. Firm, clean, and beautifully bright, this is premium-grade fish and a rare treat to have this fresh.

We also have ahi tombo in - rich, flavorful, and excellent seared rare or used for poke.

On Fridays only, our bakery bakes fresh focaccia with rotating toppings - out hot at 11:00 AM and perfect for a snowy day.

Looking ahead to the weekend? Don’t miss our house-made frozen schiacciata pizzas - ready when you are and an easy, high-quality dinner to keep on hand.

Our Tuscan-style schiacciata, which we use for deli sandwiches on the hot deck, is baked daily and also available by the loaf in our bread section - great now, warmed up later, or turned into croutons for a salad. When the ingredients are good, nothing goes to waste.

Every day starts before the sun comes up at Slo Food Market.

Our bakery is already alive in the early hours - baking all of our bread, pastries, desserts, and treats fresh daily. It’s early mornings, warm ovens, and hands at work long before most of the city wakes up.

The reward? Front-row views of some pretty incredible sunrises over Lake Michigan and the Sheboygan River, right here in downtown Sheboygan.
