BIG NEWS! The Delridge Farmers Market is MOVING! We’ll be kicking off our sixth season next month on Saturday, May 16th at a brand new location in the beautiful Highland Park neighborhood of Seattle at the old Morningstar minimart site (8855 9th Ave SW) - less than a mile from our old site! Same schedule, same market model, same food access and community programming – just with a new backdrop 😉

This move comes as we begin to build community presence and anticipation towards ACHD’s future Seattle International Public Market that is being developed just across the street at 8850 9th Ave SW. The SIPM project is being visioned as a year-round public market that will serve as a business incubation hub and brick-and-mortar opportunity for the many BIPOC farmers, chefs, and artisans that vend at our markets. More info on that to come 👀

Come celebrate our new home with us on Opening Day, May 16th from 10am to 2pm with a special live music performance, free local produce distribution, and brand new and returning vendors you know and love 🥹🎉🤲

ACHD is looking for a passionate Assistant Farmers Markets Manager to support the daily operations at the Delridge and SeaTac Farmers Markets this season. If you love supporting local businesses, feel energized by bringing people together, and are fiercely devoted to a local food system that centers farmers and producers of color — this could be the job for you!

This position is a full-time (40 hours/week) for a duration of 7 months (April through the end of October), with potential to continue past 7 months, dependent on funding availability. Compensation range is $60,000 - $65,000 DOE with benefits.

ACHD offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), 401(k) retirement plan, and up to 11 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 15 vacation days annually.

If you love this farmers market and want to continue seeing abundant food access and local BIPOC farmer and vendor support happening in your neighborhood, please stop scrolling and take a few minutes to support us - it’s super easy and 100% free!

Councilmember Rob Saka, who represents the Delridge neighborhood, has included $200,000 for the Delridge Farmers Market in the 2026 Seattle Budget. With looming SNAP cuts and exponentially rising food costs, these funds are CRITICAL in maintaining food access through our free produce bag program, our Produce Buyback program that supports small farmers, our ACHD Youth Bucks program, and our vibrant market as a whole. We are also asking City Council to contribute towards our Seattle International Public Market project that is set to break ground in 2027 just east of our current market site (near Westcrest Park) which will serve as a business incubation / brick and mortar space for our market vendors and small businesses to access for continued economic development in the Delridge neighborhood.

We need your help - if the market has supported you in any way in the past 5 years, please see this as an opportunity to five back. This budget amendment is just the first step— City Council needs to know that there are people that rely heavily on this market for income, basic needs, food access, and a space of joy for their households.

Only 2 weeks left of the Delridge Farmers Market!!! We’ve got an incredible lineup of 8 farmers tomorrow bringing the season’s best fresh local fall produce, from crispy apple varieties, plums, squash, gorgeous greens, onions, gourmet mushroom varieties and so much more.

We also have jollof rice and pupusas hot off the grill, delicious matcha, chai and coffee drinks to keep you energized all day long, and packaged and artisan goods like cozy tea blends, candles, and other handmade crafts to get you ready for fall.

If you didn’t already know, we buy back unsold produce and distribute it for free before the end of every market, to guarantee sales and eliminate food waste while feeding our neighbors high quality, culturally relevant produce. Our FREE produce distribution will be at 1pm, so please share in your networks so we can distribute all of the amazing abundance! 🍅🥬🧅

Come support our vendors and stock up on these amazing goodies before we shut down for the winter season! We’ll be at 9421 18th Ave SW tomorrow and on 10/25 from 10-2pm, rain or shine. 😍
