Someone at the market yesterday asked me to make purple hull pea jelly. It only requires the hulls, not the peas. If anyone is enjoying their peas and throwing out the hulls, I would love to take them off your hands. Let me know, thanks.

A couple of months ago at the Springhill Farmers Market, someone asked about Chow Chow. I listened and since the green tomatoes are now growing I made up a couple of batches! Come see us at the Springhill Farmers Market this Saturday to get your Chow Chow! I will have samples so you can try before you buy! I will also have all the jams and jellies i have been making this summer.

We are all set up at the Springhill Farmers Market today. Lots of jams, jellies, syrups and salsa to choose from. We also have sugar free jelly!

My grandsons and I picked a bunch of blackberries Tuesday and today I made the best tasting Blackberry jelly, just in time for the Springhill Farmers Market this Saturday!
