I have a brand new Painting The Masters Pop-Up workshop just added!

In this weeks drawing class one of the main things we focused on was tackling HAIR. How to realistically capture hair without drawing every strand. Comes down to layering, sectioning & shading.

Our acrylic painting glass today was about the dogs! And I was joined by two youngsters today, 7& 1. It was so much fun! Next week we’re doing sheep! Come join🐏

One of the things we will be learning in Drawing Class this week, the grid method. This is great for beginners, but also a practice used by professionals. Set up a grid on your reference photo, normally 1“ x 1“, and on your drawing paper and just copy square by square. Cutting out a little 1 inch View finder can also be very helpful in the process as well. Practice & try it out!
