The 🌾 is starting to sprout out of the ground. Won't be long we will be flooding the ponds back. 🦞 🦆

The ponds are nearly dry now. The next step is planting the rice, then we’ll begin flooding them again. 🌾 🦞 🦆

As we begin preparing the ponds to plant rice, we’re draining the water—and the crawfish are starting to burrow into the mud to seek refuge until we flood the ponds again. This is their natural way of surviving the dry season and preparing for the next cycle. 🦞 🌾
