We haven't had any eggs to gather in the last few weeks! Did you know that chickens naturally slow or stop egg production in the winter?

Chickens need 14-16 hours of daylight every day to produce an egg, when the daylight hours decrease in winter, this slows or stops egg production. Chickens lay eggs to produce chicks & naturally they wouldn't have baby chicks in freezing temperatures!

We freeze eggs in the spring, when production is high, to have available during the winter. I put 2 scrambled eggs in a silicone mold and freeze, then pop them out of the mold and store in freezer bags. When ready to use, I thaw them out.

Let me know if I can make you a box, perfect for your holiday gathering or just to enjoy!

Batch ordering - 20 no bake cookies per batch, peanut butter, chocolate or a combo box for $23 (add $3 for gluten free certified oats) These weigh in at a whopping 4lbs per box!

Please order at least 3 days in advance! Made in a clean, gluten free kitchen under the Michigan cottage food law.
