It's raining!! Thank you, Lord for the rain!

I haven't been out taking pictures for the past week, but this one is too sweet. Avery is such a great helper, and loves the cows. And I will write more about Carmel soon.... I am so impressed with her mothering skills!

Sam and the boys are working with Dilly Bar (Dairy Queen's calf). She did fantastic in the stanchion and now has her weaning ring. Now all the milk cows can be back in with everyone. We'll see how everyone does together!

Now that we have everyone together, time to fall seed the pastures before the rains this week. We have Graze it All seed we picked up from Red Coop Feed & Seed in Bonham.

Today is the day Chip and Dale graduate from the calving pen to the pasture with their mamas. Always a fun day. :)

Growing up! Candy is learning to use the milking stanchion and has her weaning nose ring in. She is a gorgeous girl!

Baby calves are so much fun to watch. :)

This was Monday. Avery loves getting to help with the new calves! This little guy is so sweet and loves the attention.

These little guys are having fun getting to know one another! And I am so pleased with Carmel's mothering instincts. I think she would take both calves if Mocha would allow it. ;)
