I've been meaning to pull this volunteer pumpkin plant that popped up a couple of weeks ago. Now I have pumpkins already growing on the vine and I can't bring myself to pull it. This is the life of a flower farmer - always too much to do!!

Life is full of tragedy and heartache. I'm always thankful that I can come to my garden to work. I connect with God in a special way when I'm immersed in his beautiful creation. This week we start the Spring River Farmers Market in Cherokee Village - Asa and Philip will be set up there. I'll be set up at the Judd Hill Farmers' Market in Jonesboro. I have sunflower bunches for sale today - I'm heading to Cherokee Village this afternoon. $10 for a bunch of beautiful flowers!

Y'all, I pushed the envelope and dropped the ball at the same time this year! I just harvested a couple of buckets of sunflowers that are gorgeous. I grow without a high tunnel, so summer flowers were put out with my fingers crossed that they would survive some of the cooler nights that we've had, and they did surprisingly well! We had a three week span of time that was so overwhelmingly busy that I was unable to start more sunflower seeds, which is how I dropped the ball! So there's going to be sunflowers this week and next, and then there will be a long gap of no sunflowers. 😭 Don't worry though, I'm back on track and will adjust from this hiccup just fine!

Y'all, I have some gorgeous flowers for you tomorrow at the Judd Hill Farmers' Market in Jonesboro! I'll have all sizes of bouquets available, and prices for all budgets! 😉 I'll also have some mini bouquets for $5.00 which are fun for kids to give to momma! Hope to see you in the morning!
