We’re so excited to kick off our very first vendor spotlight with Hell or High Water Hot Sauce and Seasonings

Owner Sam Newsom started Hell or High Water as a gardening hobby during the COVID lockdown era, with a passion for growing peppers and tomatoes. Over the years, that hobby turned into handcrafted hot sauces made with locally grown ingredients, along with homemade chili powders, smoked paprika, and BBQ seasonings guaranteed to level up your summer grilling!

In 2026, Hell or High Water officially expanded into a fully registered farm and will also be bringing fresh peppers and tomatoes to market this summer!

As Sam says: “Whatever you cook on the grill this summer—we have something to make your food taste even better!”

Be sure to stop by and show some love to this awesome local business at the Portland Artisans & Farmers Market! ❤️
