We harvested our sweet potatoes today! 😍🍠 👩🏼‍🌾

I know this doesn’t look like much, but I feel proud. Proud of the work we put in to get this food. Every thing that we ate for dinner tonight was grown on our Homestead. Homemade tomato soup made from tomatoes grown in our garden, a bratwurst from pigs that were raised on our homestead, and zucchini fries from fresh zucchini from our garden. 👩🏼‍🌾❤️

Our meat birds are growing quickly! Processing day will be here soon. Thankful for these birds. They are the first meat that will be raised solely on our homestead and feed our family ❤️

Our babies are doing well 🐣 we are adding 8 new chicks to our homestead. 2 Easter eggers that we hatched ourselves, 4 olive eggers, and 2 polish. We are excited to watch them grow ❤️
