Today I felt the Holy Spirit gently remind me of something that, in the busyness of the last few weeks, I had forgotten:

“I hear you, and I am working even when you don’t see me.”

Sometimes it’s so easy to overlook a blessing from God.
We call it an act of kindness from someone, a lucky day, or just a coincidence.

But so often, God is working through all things, even through people.

I think that’s one reason we can so easily believe God isn’t moving. We miss a vital step:

Reflection.

When good things happen in my life, I usually stop and think back to my quiet time with the Lord.
I remember the prayers whispered minutes, days, weeks, or even months before.

That’s when I begin to see His hand.

I see prayers being answered, usually not in the way I expected and often through other people.

And honestly, these last few weeks, I’ve skipped that step.

I’ve been so caught up in the busyness that I forgot to pause and reflect.

But I’m thankful for the Holy Spirit, who gently reminds us to look again and recognize that God has been working all along.

This morning, I was out watering my garden and picking strawberries, and I was asking God what He wanted to talk to me about today.

And He said, your perspective.

At first, I thought He was talking about how I look at things like obstacles, because I can say this is a season of testing and growing. There have been a lot of obstacles.

But He said, no, “the fruitfulness”.

Let me be honest, this season hasn’t felt fruitful. It has felt as though I’m staying afloat, walking and doing everything I should, but there’s no fruit.

But God said, “look at how you’re looking at these strawberries”.
I wasn’t just standing in one place. I was moving, shifting, looking from different angles. Moving the leaves around.
He said, “You’re shifting your perspective.”

There’s fruit I can’t see beneath the leaves. That’s fruit I would’ve missed had I not walked around the plant and fully inspected it.

I could feel God telling me to inspect myself. Not just look at one area, but look at the whole picture. For me, not just my parenting and home, but everything my hand touches.

When I did that, I could see the fruit. I could see God’s hand.
I could hear His gentle whisper, “My daughter, you are fruitful stop being so hard on yourself.”

Sometimes there will be big fruit, and sometimes there will be little fruit. Just like with these strawberries, sometimes there are very tiny ones and sometimes there are very large ones.

But to my Father, whether it’s big fruit or small fruit, it is fruit. It is life that’s been made.

Sometimes maybe the fruit isn’t ready yet, and it’s growth I need to be looking at.

I feel like in this day and age we get stuck in comparison, but that is not what God wants us to be doing. He wants us to turn and examine ourselves. He wants us to see what He’s doing in our lives, because just as He tells us in Isaiah 43:19:

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Let me ask you a question,
Do you not perceive it? Do you not see your growth and fruit?

Maybe you don’t right now, but stop looking outward and look inward. Examine yourself, and you will.

Father, I see You making a way in my wilderness and streams in these wastelands. I see Your faithfulness. Father, fill me with joy when the burdens are heavy, because it’s just You making a way.

Amen.

The warfare has been heavy over here. And I’ve seen so many other people battling with warfare also..

I just wanted to share some encouragement The Holy Spirit shared with me.

One day, all the storm clouds will pull away,
and all those tears will grow a garden.

The same legs that curled beneath you
as you bowed to the Lord,
crying out in grief and sorrow,
will be the same legs that hold you up
as you spin in the kitchen,
like a little girl, free again,
in joy and peace.

That same heart that ached
in sadness and heartbreak
will be the same heart that flutters with joy
when the Lord floods you with His presence.

Remember, it’s just a moment.
God is continually making all things new.

We’ve been a pretty quiet over here lately, getting our ducks in a row, 😉but don’t worry, something special has been growing behind the scenes 🌱✨

We’re working on a surprise coming early this summer, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

In the meantime, we’ve been busy serving our regular customers (we see you and appreciate you more than you know ❤️) and getting the garden ready for the season ahead.

There’s something Holy about this time of year preparing the soil and the fertilizers, planting with hope, and feeling the anticipation grow faster than the plants. 😂

It’s a season that teaches me to trust God fully for the harvest… while still showing up and working faithfully in the unseen. Because so much of the growth is happening where we can’t see it…
deep in the soil, on a microscopic level, beneath the surface.

(Doesn’t this sound like our everyday walk of life with God…)

But let me tell you something, God has been so faithful to us in this season. And I know He will in this next season. His provision continues to show up in the little things and the big things, and we are so grateful.
