The broccoli and cabbage are about two weeks away. If you can see the red flags that’s where we planted psyllium. Psyllium is a white flowering plant. It spreads like mulch to keep down weeds and it attracts wonderful bugs that eat the kinds of bugs we don’t want in the garden. Ladybug heaven.

All winter and early sprng we have been using Rye and Oat cover crop to build health in the soil of our field. The drought has hindered the spring cover of Crimson Clover and Cowpeas. Hoping the weekend rain will kick start the germination.
