😜A sign you're getting older.....I walked in to grab laundry out of the dryer and heard a noise.....sounded like a bird straight up chirping. Kept chirping....I had just let the dogs outside to potty so my first thought was to check out where they were.....nothing. I walk back inside to the dryer and I hear it again....I literally spent 10 minutes of my life I will never get back searching for some poor little distressed birdie just to find out it was coming from my PHONE that I had placed in my pocket and somehow bumped it enough to kick on a Facebook reel of someone asking "What kind of Bird is this I'm hearing" ya, I'm to THAT point in life. Now that my heart rate has come down and I've reassured myself I don't have to turn into "wildlife saver woman" I made myself go to a time out and think about what I had just done🤣🤣🤣 Welcome to my Monday Farm Friends 🤣

🍹Halloween/Fall Party Margarita Recipe!🍹
Ingredients
2 oz tequila
1 oz orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz orange juice
1 oz black raspberry liqueur (like Chambord)
Ice
Black salt (for ri***ng the glass, optional)
Lime wheel (for garnish)
Candy eyeballs (for decoration, optional)
Instructions
Prepare Glass:
If desired, rim your glass with lime juice and dip it in black salt to coat.
Mix Ingredients:
In a cocktail shaker, (or blender if you want to serve it as a frozen Margarita) combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and orange juice. Add ice.
Shake/ or blend.
Serve:
Pour the mixture into the prepared glass.
Add a Twist:
Carefully pour the black raspberry liqueur over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a layered effect.
Garnish:
Garnish with a lime wheel and add candy eyeballs for a spooky touch.
Enjoy:

🌮 Taco Cups🌮recipe:
(In honor of National Taco Day!)
Experience the delightful combination of Mexican flavors in a fun, bite-sized form with a Taco Cup! These savory treats are perfect for parties, game days, or a unique twist on taco night, featuring layers of seasoned meat, cheese, and all your favorite taco toppings, all nestled in a crispy wonton wrapper.
Ingredients:
For the Taco Filling:
1 lb ground beef 🥩
1 packet taco seasoning 🌮
1/2 cup water 💧
For the Cups:
24 wonton wrappers 🥟
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 🧀
1/2 cup diced tomatoes 🍅
1/2 cup shredded lettuce 🥬
1/4 cup sliced black olives 🍈
1/4 cup chopped green onions 🧅
Sour cream and salsa for topping 🥄
Directions:

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 375F (190C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.

2️⃣ In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and water, and simmer until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.

3️⃣ Place a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, pressing it into the bottom and up the sides. Add a tablespoon of the seasoned ground beef into each cup, then sprinkle with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.

4️⃣ Add another wonton wrapper on top of each cup, pressing down gently. Repeat the layering process with the remaining beef and cheese.

5️⃣ Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6️⃣ Remove the taco cups from the oven and let them cool slightly in the pan before transferring them to a serving platter.

7️⃣ Top each taco cup with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, black olives, and green onions. Add a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa on top of each for the perfect finishing touch.

Serve these Taco Cups warm, and enjoy the playful yet delicious take on traditional tacos! Enjoy!

Pillsbury Biscuit Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs recipe
Ingredients:
1 (16oz) container of refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
4 ounces mozzarella cheese (soft, shredded or diced string cheese)
4 tbsp melted butter (half a stick)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Open the container of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle.
Place a piece of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the edges of the biscuit dough around the cheese, pinching to seal and forming a ball.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt.
Brush each cheese-stuffed biscuit ball with the garlic butter mixture.
Place the cheese bombs on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

🍎Good Morning Farm Friends!🍎 Last night after dinner we were sitting on the porch relaxing when we heard someone over by the apple tree in our front yard. Someone was visiting her brother next door and was admiring the tree and trying to take a photo of an insanely sized apple🤣 (just so happened it was also one of our Farm Friends!🥰) We walked over to say hello and were SHOCKED when we heard not only was there an apple on the tree, but it was CLEARLY an over achiever!🤣🤣 See, we planted this tree 3 years ago and it hasn't given us ONE apple (and yes we have other apple trees on the property) so when we walked up to see it we were in shock to see what a BEAUTY it made!!! We stood there laughing because just the week before we had considered cutting it down because it hadn't produced like our others did...well needless to say, this tree will be staying right where it is!!!🥰 Saved by the Apple in the nick of time! Not sure yet just how we will enjoy eating this beauty- it's literally bigger than my hand! I think with how it yelled "look at me, look at me" it deserves more than just a simple slice and eat! I mean the thing was "picture worthy" from a passerby!!!
I guess Oyer Farms now grows softball sized giant apples too🤣🤣🤣 Oh the adventures Neil & I journey through- we laughed so hard- this will be a memory for the books! 🤣 Have a great day friends...and let this be a lesson that not everything blooms to its potential on the same timeline as everything else..some might take a bit more time, but in the end shine a lot brighter!!! 😘

🌻Happy Monday Farm Friends!🌻 I hope y'all had an amazing weekend!
We got the big garden all tore out for the season, apple trees trimmed, grass cut, burn pile burned, grow room cleaned out.... organized, decluttered and more organizing 🤣
At least we have things good to go for tilling everything up for the season- and that in itself was a CHORE!!!
I finally feel like I can breathe a bit!!! Still lots more work to get done, but we're making headway finally! I will be baking goodies and restocking Lattes and Lemonades tomorrow (there are still a few of each flavor out in the mini fridge now, along with some cookies still in the Snack Shack) tomorrow everything should be out there by 2pm.
Well im off to go get some dinner started!- wishing everyone a wonderful start to your week🥰
