Tonight when I got home from work, I found that 5 boxes of our eggs had been taken from The Egg Shed, but there was only money for 2. I’m so disappointed - we won’t be putting eggs out for the foreseeable future now - if you would still like some, message me on here and I’ll let you know where you can come and collect. My children work really hard looking after their chickens and we don’t make any profit from the egg sales, so it’s just sad that someone has done this. So, so upset 😭

Egg production is a little slow at the moment here as we have a couple of girls hatching their own chicks, so these two are a new addition to our flock - I couldn’t resist those feathered feet! They’re currently separated whilst they meet our resident hens but they’ll be going outside with them in the next few days. Our sweet peas are also coming along beautifully….. if you’d like a little bunch, let me know and I’ll sort something out for you!

Whilst we do have a road closure on our lane at the moment, there are still plenty of eggs in the shed (you can walk down past the closure) - and hopefully we’ll have access to the road back soon! I’ve also just potted up some sweet peas grown from our own seeds last year - they were beautiful! They’ll be £1 a pot, I’ll update when they’re available. See you soon!
