Exciting times!! Garlic looks great! Update from the field

Turning out to be a great year, the crop is already scaping.. so garlic scapes should be ready in about 10-14 days! Then harvesting bulbs around the 4th of July. This is an exciting time of year for garlic farmers :) 🥳🧄

Jalapeno Lime Chicken Tacos! Here's our recipe..

In a bowl, whisk together ½ cup BJ Jalapeño Lime White Balsamic Vinegar, ¼ cup olive oil, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp cumin, ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp black pepper.
Place 1½ lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips, in a zip-top bag or shallow dish.

Pour marinade over the chicken. Seal or cover.

Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Grill chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Let chicken rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
Warm tortillas and fill with chicken.

Add toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, cabbage, cilantro, cotija cheese, lime wedges, sour cream, or avocado crema.

Drizzle with extra Jalapeño Lime White Balsamic before serving.
