🥐 Raspberry Cheesecake Crescent Ring

Turn a couple of cans of crescent rolls into a gorgeous homemade pastry! Sweet cream cheese, bright raspberry preserves, and a vanilla glaze make this ring a lovely addition to the brunch table.

Ingredients:
• 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 egg yolk
• 1/2 cup raspberry preserves
• 1 whole egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water, for brushing

Vanilla glaze:
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 2–3 teaspoons milk
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
2. Mix the softened cream cheese with the granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and egg yolk until creamy and smooth.
3. Unroll the dough and separate it into 16 triangles. Overlap the wide ends in a circle, leaving a 5-inch opening in the middle and the narrow tips pointing outward. Press the overlapping dough gently to connect it.
4. Spread the cream cheese mixture around the wide dough bases, keeping a small border clear. Add spoonfuls of raspberry preserves over the cream cheese.
5. Bring the triangle tips up and over the filling, tucking them beneath the inside edge. Small openings between the dough strips are fine.
6. Brush the exposed dough lightly with the egg wash.
7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through around the filling. Tent loosely with foil if needed to prevent excess browning.
8. Cool for 15–20 minutes before glazing.
9. Whisk the powdered sugar with the milk and remaining vanilla. Drizzle over the ring, slice, and enjoy.
