Just doing some prep work for the Plymouth Farmers' Market this Thursday and the Wolf and Fox Winery at Woelfel Homestead event this Saturday.

Did you know that the pineapple core is edible and it is packed full of nutrients including bromelain?

I always keep this and either freeze dry it or cut it up and freeze it and make a tea out of it.

It still amazes me that this is Einkorn and Rye that came off of Our Little Farm! It sprouts beautifully too! I love baking with these wonderful grains! Thanks to Ben for all his hard work planting and harvesting. :)

It's been a whole week since we brought to you our specialty flour Spryekorn. 😊
I was somewhat familiar with rye flour as we have used it in our kitchen for years along with selling some limited items made with 100% sprouted rye. Since we have created (accidentally) this wonderful flour blend I thought I better to some research on the benefits of sprouted rye. First time making spruce tip soda. I was a little skeptical about this but it is delicious! The possibilities are endless...infused orange honey, raspberry honey! So many things to remember for next year!

That rainfall sure helped move these garlic scapes along! Looks like we may have to do a taste test of scapes to compare the 3 varieties of garlic we have planted.
