Join us for a collaborative campus-wide cleanup THIS Friday, 2/28, from 4-5pm! 🌎🌍🌏

We will be sweeping campus in just 1 hour, and we need YOUR HELP! Bring your friends, your classmates, your favorite professor & your teammates. All are welcome, and it will be a great opportunity to network with student organizations.

Right now, we’ve got our sights set on cleaning up:

- The emporium
- The Fascitelli pond
- Brookside/Wiley area
- Outside the library
- The North Woods border
- The Fine Arts construction area

If you can think of other spots on campus that need attention, write a comment and we’ll add them to the list. See ya there!

Angry at the state of the world? Feeling hopeless or isolated because of recent political updates?

Join a community of Rhode Islanders passionate about social justice, climate action, and political nonviolence THIS Saturday, February 8th in Providence. Organizations such as Indivisible, CARI, BLM RI, and WFP will be there, and we are counting on a heavy student presence as well.

Please contact [email protected] with questions, and bring your friends!

URI STUDENTS — Join Student Action for Sustainability, Climate Action Rhode Island, and others at our Rally for the Planet! This Inauguration Day at the Rhode Island State House, we will honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. while standing up for science, a livable climate, and environmental justice. The Trump administration plans to wreck our climate and destroy clean energy development, which only means that it’s time to work harder than ever. Join advocates from across Rhode Island to network and find community support.

Bring signs to display, and wear green. Send to all that would be interested — this event is open to EVERYONE & ANYONE! Contact [email protected] with questions.

2-4pm, Rhode Island State House lawn
