Row covers stop squash bugs before they start
If you grew squash, zucchini, or pumpkins last year and lost plants to wilt β€” squash bugs and vine borers are the likely culprits, and they overwinter in your soil.
Float row covers over new plants from day one. Pull the covers off only when flowers appear (you need bees for pollination). By then your plants are strong enough to tolerate some bug pressure.
One summer of prevention can break the cycle for years!

We do this and it makes such a difference !!!

Pinch your tomato suckers, they tell you. But what does that mean!!??!!?

See that little shoot growing in the "V" between the main stem and a branch? That's a sucker. On indeterminate tomatoes (most vining types), pinching them out sends more energy into fruit.
Keep 1-2 main stems, pinch the rest. Bigger tomatoes, easier to stake, fewer disease problems from crowded leaves.
Do NOT prune determinate (bush) varieties β€” they need all their foliage.

Our strawberry crop is coming in nicely, and we're launching three new products: strawberry syrup, strawberry jam, and strawberry pie filling, all crafted with our fresh homegrown berries.
