First off… thank you everyone for your concern. I'm a little shaken up. But I’ll be OK.
For those of you who don't know what happened, I got robbed at the gas station today. 😩 I gathered myself together enough to call the cops. When they arrived, I told them everything. I said my money is gone! They asked me if I knew who did it, and I told them ‘Yes, it was pump #5 unleaded 87.

Hear ye, hear ye…

Welcome to R2R — Rogue 💜 and Fae 💜

Sir Roggie of the Morning was most weathered at dawn, as though he had battled the fiercest of trials (or perhaps a restless ordeal in the stables). Yet still, the noble soul rises—steadfast, unyielding, and ready to face the new realm at once. ⚔️🌿

All hail the brave and slightly ruffled Roggie of the Mournin’💜

Poor boy lost his manhood today and both babes are in a temporary location as we learn and they continue to grow. Let the adventures begin. 🐉

Happy Sunday! There is nothing quite like a quiet Sunday morning on the farm to reset for the week ahead.

Whether you're finishing up chores, checking on the garden beds, or just enjoying a coffee while watching the animals, I hope it’s a productive and peaceful day for you.

Do you have any big projects planned for the homestead today, or are you keeping it low-key?

Head tilt (wry neck) in rabbits isn’t just a “tilt”—it’s often a neurological issue caused by things like a severe ear infection or E. cuniculi. Rabbits are prey animals, so they hide illness well… and when symptoms show, it can be sudden and severe.

You might see:• Head tilted to one side• Loss of balance or rolling• Circling or spinning• Trouble eating or drinking

Recovery isn’t always quick—but it is possible.

With treatment (antibiotics, antiparasitics, supportive care):• Many rabbits begin improving within 1–2 weeks• Full recovery can take weeks to months• Some are left with a slight tilt—but still live full, happy lives• Early treatment greatly increases survival chances

The biggest factor? Their will to live—and consistent care.

Rabbits are tougher than they look. 🐰🤍

Earth Day at Root to Rise 🌎🤎

The muddy boots, the fresh eggs, and the tiny peeps finding their place in the world.

We don’t do perfect here—but we do intentional.
We grow what we can, waste a little less, and care a little more.
We teach our kids where food comes from, how to respect animals, and why the land matters.

From compost piles to garden beds… from barn chores to baby animals—this life is rooted in something bigger than us.

Small steps. Simple living. Deep roots. Grow!

Hope you had a Happy Earth Day from Root To Rise 🌱
