Benefits of buying a Nuc vs. a package of bees

1. Strong, Established Colony
•A nuc includes a laying queen, worker bees, brood in various stages, and drawn comb, giving beekeepers a head start and reducing the risk of failure compared to package bees.

2. Faster Honey Production
•Beekeepers want results!! Since the colony is already working with brood and drawn comb, they can build up faster and potentially produce honey in the first season.

3. Higher Survival Rate
•Nucs tend to have better survival rates than package bees because they include an already-functioning colony with resources to sustain them.
