I haven't posted a lot about our newest adventures! About a year & a half ago we decided to become chicken people! 🐔 We started with 12 chicks, found out half were roosters so then we added another 10 chicks a few months later. This past spring our wonderful Ag teacher/sister helped us out incubating some of our eggs in their classroom! We ended up bringing 13 of the 20 chicks home! Now those newest chicks are are also laying so we currently have an abundance in eggs! Our chickens are free ranged and get spoiled with watermelon, cucumbers, grapes, tomatoes, corn & berries!

It’s been a busy summer making hay. It started out pretty wet but we were able to make it in some small windows. Every crop has been yielding more. We finished chopping 3rd crop last week and baled some beautiful 2nd and 3rd crop right after.
