🥗 CHICKEN FAJITA SALAD - $12
A fresh and flavorful salad loaded with grilled fajita-seasoned chicken, fresh organic greens straight from my parents’ garden, crisp bell peppers, red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Served with a clean Primal Kitchen Cilantro Lime Dressing and a side of guacamole to complement the flavors perfectly. High in protein and packed with flavor!

🍲 CREAMY PESTO CHICKEN & BROCCOLI BOWL - $11
Made with clean Protein Pasta, grilled chicken, and broccoli, all tossed in a creamy pesto-cottage cheese sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese. High in protein, balanced, filling, and delicious!

🍗 ITALIAN CHICKEN PROTEIN PASTA SALAD
This is my Italian Protein Pasta Salad that I offered during Lent — now with grilled chicken added! Made with Brami Protein Pasta, chopped cucumbers, red onions, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese, all coated in a high-protein, clean, creamy blend made from plain Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and organic Italian dressing (no mayo, seed oils, etc.).

Today I had the opportunity to visit Coldwater Middle School and speak with 4 sessions of 6th graders during GET REAL Week - a program that encourages kids to become Responsible Enough About Life (REAL). 💪🏽

***Funny full-circle moment: years ago at my previous job, I actually created this Get Real banner you see here and in past years I’ve stood in these same classrooms talking about my previous employer and role there. This year, I was back talking about nutrition and my new business instead. Safe to say I didn’t expect my banner design to outlast my career path! 😂

I spent time chatting with these 6th graders about nutrition and why it matters, focusing on the three major macronutrients: proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. We discussed what they are, examples of foods that fit into each category, and how to keep them balanced using a simple hand-guide approach. ✋🏽

To wrap up the sessions, the students made their own macro-friendly snack: a fruit and yogurt parfait! My hope is that they can take some of this knowledge home and feel confident making healthier choices (and maybe a new snack) for themselves. 🍓🫐

I truly enjoy stepping away from my daily routine and having the opportunity to talk with kids (and really anyone) about nutrition. ❤️
